Clarine Menzel’s registered skeet career started in the late 1950’s – early 1960’s.  The 1960 WSSA State Shoot Program lists Mr. and Mrs. Menzel as the WSSA State Shoot Welcoming Committee.  Mrs. Menzel was named to FIVE NSSA All American Teams.  In 1963, 1964, and 1966, she was among the NSSA’s high average leaders for women.  In 1963, she became the first and only woman to win an OPEN Wisconsin State Title (20 Ga.). During her shooting career, Mrs. Menzel won over fifteen lady state titles and numerous class wins.  In 1965, she was the first woman to shoot a 100 in the 12 Ga. during a Wisconsin State Shoot.  Clarine Menzel will be inducted into the NSSA’s Hall of Fame in October, 1995.
